A new Lord Venkateshwara Temple is coming up in Frisco, Texas. About 25 years ago, a visionary couple dreamed of building a Lord Venkateshwara temple in Texas — a tribute to the Lord of the Seven Hills. Having visited Tirupati many times for the Lord's blessings, they felt compelled to make the Lord's sacred presence available to the growing Hindu community of Texas.
The ambitious Venkateshwara Temple Project, considered to be one of the largest 'truly community projects,' is expected to reach shortly the final stages of planning following the completion of the initial formalities and compliance procedures. The temple construction will begin as soon as the council approves the plans and consents.
Sri Balaji Alayam will not just be a place of worship — it will be a vibrant community centre that serves the spiritual, cultural, and social needs of the entire Hindu community in Frisco and beyond.
The Temple Complex will comprise a host of facilities and services that will benefit the growing community and its multifarious needs:
✓ 70-Car Park Completed
A 70-vehicle parking facility has been completed on the temple grounds.
✓ Balalayam Under Construction
The temporary sanctum (Balalayam) for daily worship is now being built.
✓ Daily Prayers & Services
The Temple Mandapam is now open seven days a week for all devotees.
✓ Sapta Sanivara Vrat Commenced
Seven Saturdays of special prayer for the successful completion of the temple.
